EA’s Andrew Wilson and Kristian Segerstrale Named to 40 Under 40 List

EA SPORTS head Andrew Wilson and EA’s head of Digital Kristian Segerstrale were both named to the Silicon Valley Business Journal 40 Under 40 list today. The list takes a look at the young stars in Bay Area businesses and how they’ve made significant contributions to the business landscape.

Andrew Wilson took the reins of EA SPORTS only one year ago and has continued to strengthen the position of the label as one of the leading sports entertainment brands in the world. Under Wilson’s guidance during the last year, EA SPORTS achieved record-breaking first week sales for Madden NFL 13, NCAA Football 12, NHL 13, FIFA 13 and Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 12: The Masters. Wilson oversaw the inclusion of physics in Madden, a re-designed skating mechanic in NHL and First Touch and the Impact Engine in FIFA that brought a new level of creativity and freedom to the game. From winning over 90 awards to recognition for innovative marketing campaigns, EA SPORTS has continued to set the standard for being one of the most critically-acclaimed brands in the world.

Kristian Segerstrale has been at the forefront of the gaming industry’s shift from packaged goods to digital content. As the co-founder of Macrospace Ltd that would later become Glu Mobile, the co-founder of leading free-to-play social game developer Playfish and his role at EA, Segerstrale has achieved remarkable success in a relatively short career. Since taking over his current role in January and moving to Silicon Valley, Segerstrale is spearheaded an ambitious effort to launch a new EA Digital Platform. This effort is transforming the company from a traditional packaged goods videogame provider to an always-on digital entertainment company. This effort will unify the company’s approach on everything from payment systems, to unique identification to cross-platform and cross-game marketing.

Both Wilson and Segerstrale are profiled in the feature and share some fun facts about themselves, from their guilty pleasures (Japanese whiskey for Wilson, live music for Segerstrale) to their favorite charitable causes (both have the environment top of mind). Their profiles are available here.

Great, however your efforts on the Simpsons game(lack of proper login ), sucks. How can you sell this game with such ******** service. Problems have existed since September. You and your staff must be a proctologist's dream. Fix the problem before you sell more donuts.
